The Events and Atmosphere of Our Topic's Era Influenced Our Topic by.....

The events and atmosphere of our topic's era influenced our topic by people's religious beliefs being sort-of pushed on by having prayer time and bible readings at a public school where there are other kids with different religions being taught against their own religion without a choice. For example, Madalyn Murray O'Hair thought her son was being pushed into christian beliefs against his will.

Our Topic Influence History by....

Our topic influenced history because without the decisions they made we wouldn't have the school system we have today. Students have a choice now so teachers can't push or talk about their religion in public schools today.

Our Topic Developed over Time By....

Our topic developed over time and became a topic by a couple of steps. It took time for Mrs. O'Hair to explain her reasons and shout out to the world and say "Hey this is something I don't like and you should not like it also!" It also took the government a while to pass the law and make the law and adjust it later.

Our Topic is Significant Because...

Our topic is significant because it shows a time when religious acts were threatened, and how strongly people believed in there religion. We think that the change was not a good one because of the effects after it.

Our Topic is Important Because.....

Our topic is important because it shows how prayer changed schools, families, and even the country.  Since prayer has been taken away there has been an increase in many illegal acts, diseases, and christians becoming mad because they can't pray in school.
